Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Double Serpentine Fronted Chest of Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

This antique burr walnut chest of drawers has a wonderful shape & is fabulous quality too. The top is burr walnut with a figured walnut cross banded edge. the drawers which are graduated have locks & original brass handles. The front sides have canted corners & the sides are figured walnut. It sits on solid walnut shaped feet. I would date this chest to around the 1890-1910 period & it's in good original condition. The burr walnut is really tight on this piece & the overall shape is magnificent. I also have a matching dressing table/desk which came out of the same house (see under desks).

Depth - 20.5", 52 cm

Height - 36.2", 92 cm
