Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The side supports are barley twist and topped with finials. The back legs are also barley twist and the stretchers and front legs are turned. The seats are caned bergere seats and have carved round edges to the seat rails.

Condition Report:
One chair is solid to sit on, the other has some light give to it (but not too wobbly). The bergere caned seats are solid with some small areas of wear and slight give. Wear and marks commensurate with age to the frames.
