Pair of Regency Demi Lune Planters

Description

A rare pair of Regency mahogany planters of demi lune form. The original removable liners sit within a cross banded top supported by a carved and gilded frieze.

The bow fronts with 3 flame mahogany veneered panels and applied gilded mouldings. Each planter sits on 4 original cast brass lion's feet. Condition - 1 or 2 bumps and bruises associated with age and use and the cross banded tops have been re-polished due to plant watering marks.More pictures available on request.
