Description

A handsome and unusual postage stamp box, made from a piece of heavy crystal, deeply cut on the underside in the ever popular hobnail design.

The top is mounted with a sterling silver collar and hinged lid, once opened reveals the double compartment for two different postage stamps.

The front has the full English hallmark for Birmingham 1908, Edwardian in era. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, J Collyer & Co Ltd.

Excellent condition, the footprint measuring 3" x 2".
