Description

A most unusual and charming piece of English novelty sterling silver with a hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1912, so an antique example, over 100 years old.

Beautifully executed, the sides of the wheelbarrow are pierced or reticulated and the wheel turns just like the real thing.

The makers initials, HM, is also present for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.

Excellent condition, weighing 1.12 Troy Ounces / 34.8 Grams and measuring 4" x 2 3/8".
