Antique Victorian Rise and Fall Piano Stool

Description

An antique Victorian piano stool in mahogany with a working rise and fall action operated by turning knobs on either side of the seat. It has a reeded seat support and knobs and stands on cabriole legs. It has been newly recovered in a brocade fabric with a design of leaf scrolls in a very pale blue on a delicate grey/blue background.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid to sit on. Newly recovered in new fabric. Scuffs, marks and wear commensurate with age.

Depth: 14"

Height at Lowest : 17"

Height at Highest: 22"
