London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1910s.
A very well presented and solidly crafted English oak writing desk of Liberty quality and styling.

Rising from classic tapered & turned legs through a three quarter stretcher into the upper via flying supports. The central drawer is flanked by fine triple scroll work piercings and opens with the original raised brass backplate drop loop handle to reveal a useful interior storage space. The drawer benefits from moulded edge detailing to the front and strong dovetailing.

The upper presents a dark green skiver bordered by the moulded edge oak which displays quality grain and tone.
Overall a very versatile and collectible item of antique furniture. The table is solid throughout and ideal for daily use.

Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
