Description

A beautiful mahogany Regency Period sideboard/server. With a shaped raised galleried back in solid figured mahogany and applied mahogany turned roundels. The rectangular top of slightly bow front outline in beautifully figured solid mahogany with boxwood line inlaid detail and a cross banded edge. The rectangular central oak lined frieze drawer above a further "concealed" drawer with boxwood and mahogany chequer band inlaid detail, flanked to the right by a double cellaret drawer, to the left are two conventional drawers again lined in oak. Retaining the original cast brass handles and supported on six turned tapering mahogany legs, probably Scottish circa 1820-1830

Condition: This sideboard is in excellent condition. Beautiful colour. Re-polished
