Having three rectangular "cushion" convex shaped frieze drawers, each beautifully veneered in figured walnut. The pedestals with an arrangement of oak lined drawers with beautifully engraved brass swan neck handles and cross banded in walnut to the edges. The bottom two "double" drawers are fitted for use as filing drawers. The reverse of the desk with twin panelled walnut doors and shelved interiors. The pedestals veneered in beautifully figured walnut both on the inside and the outside, again with walnut block moulded detail. Supported on shaped walnut ogee feet. The desk made by Maple & Co and bears a plaque internally to one of the drawers, English circa 1920-1930

Condition: This desk is in superb original condition, cleaned and wax. Retains the original leather.
