A Charming and Collectable Victorian Silver Hat Brush.

A charming collector's item from the Victorian era. This is a silver hat or bonnet brush. It has a silver handle with foliar design and a horse-hair bristle. It would have been used for removing dust etc. from top hats or bonnets. A lovely piece for the collector of Victorian daily life.

Condition :- Very good. the bristle is in fine condition with barely any wear, although there is some loss (shown in penultimate photo). The handle has no splits or holes, although there is a small crease (last photo)commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Soft but just readable.
