A Handsome Silver Mounted Edwardian Biscuit Barrel.

A handsome silver mounted biscuit barrel from the elegant Edwardian era. This is a superb example, suitable for savoury crackers or sweet biscuits.

The collar, handle and lid are hallmarked silver and the body is cut glass, with a star base.

A wonderful gift idea, being both practical and decorative.

Condition :- Very good, with no dents or splits to the silver and no cracks or chips to the glass. There is one small dig to the outer rim (shown in last photo), commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Full matching set to collar and lid and matching part set to handle.
