A Teak Victorian Period Colonial Campaign Chest

Description

A Teak Victorian Period Colonial two part campaign chest. The top half having an arrangement of four small and one large rectangular drawers, each with typical "military" sunken brass handles, escutcheons, brass corners and large brass carrying handles. The bottom half with two long rectangular drawers again with "military" handles, escutcheons and large brass carrying handles. Supported on large squat bun feet. Colonial, probably made in India for use with the British Army during the 19th Century

Dimensions: 48" wide x 20" deep x 52" high

Condition: This chest has been restored and re-polished throughout.
