A Beautiful Burr Walnut Victorian Period Antique Credenza

Description

A Beautiful burr walnut Victorian Period antique credenza/side cabinet. Having a shaped top veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with serpentine ends and a walnut block moulded edge. The frieze with boxwood line inlaid and foliate detail. Having a central rectangular panelled door again veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut with further foliate boxwood line inlaid detail and an ormolu beaded edge, which opens to reveal a silk lined interior. Flanked by half round columns with ormolu capitols. The ends each having serpentine glazed doors which open to reveal silk lined display shelves. The whole raised on a burr walnut veneered serpentine shaped plinth, English circa 1860

Dimensions: 50" wide x 17" deep x 42" high

Condition: This credenza is in stunning condition. Re-polished.
