17th Century Carved Oak Housekeepers or Hall Cupboard

The cupboard has exquisite deep carving, the cornice is diamond carved and the front of the cupboard has geometric carved panels, the sides also have primitive carved panels

This is a one piece cupboard, the two doors at the top enclose a shelved cupboard, beneath there is a long drawer and below this there is another 2 door shelved cupboard

The hinges and all the iron work is blacksmith made, we have keys for the doors and the key in the drawer is original but we cannot remove it, the cupboard has been treated for wood worm and the bottom boards have been replaced at some time

The Cupboard is 67” tall, 44” wide and 25” deep
