Georgian Silver Decanter Stand.

Description

Geo.IV silver, four bottle decanter stand; the square base containing four round, cut-glass decanters and stoppers. The base stands on four foliate bracket feet and has a magnificent shell and gadroon border, the carrying loop is a mass of foliate decoration, and the bottles and stoppers sit in reeded circular receivers. The silver weighs a handsome 45 troy oz/1395gms. Great maker and a truly fine piece.
