Description

Naturistically decorated with BUTTERFLIES and FOLIAGE on an unusual DUCK EGG BLUE GROUND, this stunning ANTIQUE FOOTBATH bears an IMPRESSED STAFFORDSHIRE KNOT MARK with the MAKERS' initials inside.

It was made by RIDGWAY, SPARKS & RIDGWAY of the BEDFORD WORKS, SHELTON, STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERIES 1873-79.

The FOOTBATH is finished with bold GILDING.

The condition is good with just some minor wear to the decoration.

There is no restoration.
