A Superb Mahogany Early Victorian Period Extending Antique Dining Table

19th century
Description

A superb mahogany early Victorian Period three leaf extending dining table seating 10 people. Having a solid cuban mahogany top with rounded ends and three original leaf insertions which extend the table to a maximum length of 104". The top when closed is 54" long and the three leafs each measure 16.5" wide, so the table can be extended or reduced accordingly. The table extends by means of push and pull internal mahogany runners and the leaves have brass clips. Supported on elegant turned and reeded "Gillows" style legs with brass cup castors. The choice of mahogany used for this table is of the highest quality. English circa 1850

Dimensions: Maximum length 104" long x 54" deep x 29" high (Closed 54" long) (Each leaf 16.5" wide)

Condition: This table has been re-polished in our workshops using traditional methods
