Antique Victorian rosewood duet piano stool with some fine inlays on the front, back & sides. This stool could have a variety of uses, not just as a piano stool, but as a window seat, or even at the foot of the bed. The rosewood has strong figuring & the inlays incorporate other exotic woods, plus there are some bone inlays. The top section has been recovered & it lifts up to reveal a large storage section inside. The legs are tapered & also inlaid. This stool has a lovely original colour & it has just been polished, so it's in good condition. What is particularly nice about this stool is the fact that it looks as good from the back, because it's inlaid & finished off the same on both sides.
