C19th Mahogany Bow Front Chest of 4 Drawers

Description

An attractive early c19th mahogany bow front chest of drawers. Satinwood inlay to all four drawers and to the front and sides of the top. The chest has splayed legs and a shaped apron, the drawers have brass bail handles on oval backplates. It is in very good antique condition. It has had a couple of pieces of veneer replaced which would be expected in a very useful item of this age and the lock to the bottom drawer is missing. Overall it is a very practical and good looking chest and its size makes it ideal for many situations in the home.

Depth at side 16.5 ins

Depth at centre 18.5 ins
