Antique Deep Buttoned Leather Wing Back Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

Fabulous antique deep buttoned distressed leather wing armchair, with loads of original character. I would say it dates from around the 1900-1910 period & it's in good sturdy original condition. The shaped legs are mahogany with ball & claw feet. This armchair is really comfortable. You can feel the crisp horse hair underneath the leather & the loose cushion is feather filled. The leather is naturally distressed with age & there will be various imperfections plus old markings on the surface, so please don't buy this if you like your antiques looking new. The leather is also individually hand tacked all over. I have a very sensitive back & if I wanted another wing chair at home I would definitely keep this one, because it's extremely comfortable.
