The lid fits well and once opened, reveals a lavishly gilded interior. There is a full English hallmark for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1909. The makers initials are also present for the silversmith, S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd.
Excellent undamaged condition, measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/8".
