Magnificent & Striking Bronze & Polished Copper Inkwell - Cherubs C.1870

Description

A fabulous quality inkstand or inkwell made from a striking combination of heavy cast bronze with it's natural antique patina, contrasting with the smooth polished copper.

All three points of the stand incorporate a charming Cherub's face, and the sides of the inkwell with three Lion's heads. The lid opens to reveal a removable ink chamber for easy refilling and cleaning.

Most unusual and a really impressive piece to grace the finest of desk-tops. Please see item # 35220 for a matching pen tray. Excellent condition, measuring 8" x 9" x 5 1/2" tall.
