Description

A rare example of a Victorian silver plated spoon warmer modelled as a conical buoy resting on a rocky shell and seaweed base, fitted with a suspension loop and fixed with a chain.

This example is lucky enough to have a design registration diamond mark, allowing us to date the registration of the piece to 24th November 1868. The underside has a full mark for the well renowned and highly collectible silversmith, Atkin Brothers of Sheffield.

This one has it all, in superb undamaged condition. 7 1/2" in length.
