Fabulous Large English Cut Crystal, Sterling & Guilloche Enamel Perfume Bottle

Description

A spectacular example, about as good as you will find, made from really hefty crystal, beautifully cut.

The top is made from sterling silver hallmarked (some rubbing) for Birmingham 1922; the makers mark is also present, for Alexander Clark & Co Limited.

The domed top has the most highly prized colour of guilloche enamel, powder pink in undamaged condition. The hinged lid fits well with the inside lavishly gilded and the original glass stopper still intact.

A fine and impressive example standing 5" tall and approximately 4 1/4" in diameter.
