Description

This is a superb example of a French mahogany clock by the premier clockmaker Samuel Marti.

The mahogany case has wonderful brass inlay and a rich colour and patina, this is complimented by the original white enamel dial which is in superb condition with a contrasting brass door.

The case itself is very much of the Victorian era with the serpentine top.

It strikes on the hour and half hours on a coiled gong.

The movement has just been serviced so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.

The clock comes with its original pendulum and a key and is keeping accurate time.

Dimensions of clock: Height 13" Width is 9.75", Depth 6.25".

Delivery for this item to mainland England and Wales is free.

If being over critial there is a small repair to the veneer to the top corner but this is hardly noticeable unless looked at directly from above and does not detract at all from the clock. We have tried to photograph it.
