A Chippendale Revival Mahogany Antique Pedestal Desk

Description

A Chippendale Revival Mahogany Antique pedestal desk. Having a solid mahogany rectangular top with an inset brown leather writing surface and a gadrooned carved edge. The pedestals having three graduating drawers with flame veneered mahogany fronts and solid cast brass handles. The central knee hole with a rectangular frieze drawer and mahogany panelled ends and back. Each pedestal supported on four cabriole legs with claw and ball feet and a shaped apron. Complete with working locks and key. English circa 1920-1930

Dimensions: 60" wide x 36" deep x 30" high (knee hole 24" high x 27" wide)

Condition: This desk is in good original condition, cleaned and waxed. Minor scuffs commensurate with age and use.
