Antique Early 18th Century Period Joined Oak Gate Leg Table C1720

Antique Early 18th Century Period Oak Gate Leg Table and dating form around 1720. It has a 1" thick original pit cut plank top with original patina and build up of wax giving a gorgeous knotted and swirled grain. The top is peg joined to the frame and to one end there is a deep oak lined drawer and carved frieze to the other end and it has an Arcaded Frieze that runs all the way around the table underneath the top. It stands on turned and block legs joined by squared stretchers and small bun foot.

Measures: 28" high x 17" deep (closed) x 64" (open) x 47" wide

A lovely Early 18th Century Period Oak Gate Leg Table and in very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
