Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Hall Stand C1890

Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Hall Stand and dating form around 1890. Constructed form quality mahogany it has a shaped pediment top with incised carving and sunburst design above a deep cornice and reeded frieze over a long bevelled edge mirror set within a mahogany surround and carved panel below. To either side are shaped and carved supports above a reeded frieze with four carved sunburst supports to each corner of the open frieze and with carved panel below.It has reeded sides topped with a turned finial and with four original brass coat hooks. The stand has a single drawer to the centre which is pine lined with original brass handles with shaped frieze below. It stands on ring turned legs joined by a mahogany shelf with original inset 'drip' trays for umbrellas etc. It stands on small turned bun feet.

Measures: 84" high x 14" deep x 48" wide
