A 1928 Betty Joel panelled oak coffer, with a cedarwood lined interior, bears label for the Token Works in Portsmouth. A charming oak coffer in an Arts and crafts style designed by the renowned furniture designer Betty Joel with a hand written label to the inside signed by Betty Joel and bearing the makers name dated 1928. A high quality piece of furniture all hand made in a traditional style affording a large amount of storage. With original lock and working key.

Construction/Wood:

Oak and Oak Ply. Cedarwood lining.

Condition Report:

Good solid condition, some marks and wear to the top, some small scratches and scuffs to the sides and legs commensurate with age. Lovely warm patina to the oak.
