Description

A very good quality French brass and tortoise shell inlaid Mantel clock with decorative ormolu mounts. The Clock has an enamel dial with an eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a gong.

The Clock movement has a unique way of replacing the springs in the barrels without having to take the movement apart. This is done by releasing the centre winding pin from the back of the movement which enables the barrels to be released. This is a very unusual feature.

The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.
