Description

A very handsome Regency table or desk box made from Amboyna, the most precious and expensive timer in the world, sought for it's tight curly grain and rich cognac colour.

The box opens to reveal the interior of the lid also showcasing this prized exotic timber. The box has been re-lined in a hand-marbelled paper creating a clean and very usable finish ready for use.

Excellent condition, the key is for display only, the lock is not operational. 12 3/4" x 9" x 4 1/2".
