Description

A really elegant antique English Jewelry or table box dating to around 1820, Regency in era.

Made from Mahogany, the box is decorated with fine Boxwood stringing. The top has the most wonderful polished brass decorative ring handle with a basket of flowers back-plate. The front has a complimentary cast brass escutcheon, which houses a working key.

The interior has been re-lined in a hand-marbelled paper, creating a clean and usable interior.

Excellent condition, measuring 11" x 7" x 5 1/4".
