Antique Mahogany Writing Table Dressing Table Desk

Description

This antique mahogany table is a very versatile piece of furniture, which could be used as a desk, a dressing table, or just a side table. It has a nicely shaped bold original top gallery, 3 drawers with wooden handles plus fine dovetails & beautifully turned legs. I would date it to around the 1820-40 period. The colour is slightly inconsistent, with a bit of fade here & there, but I think that just adds to the charm. Since photographing this piece, it has restored & re-polished, because there were one or two minor damages to the beadings on the drawers & the polish. So, it does look much better than the photos suggest.

Depth - 18", 46 cm

Height - 33.5", 85 cm

Knee height - 25", 64 cm
