Description

A mahogany Victorian Period two door library secretaire bookcase. The upper section with a moulded cornice above twin glazed rounded corner doors, opening to reveal an adjustable shelved interior. The lower section with a central secretaire drawer which opens to reveal a well fitted interior retaining the original leather inset writing surface with gilt tooled detail, above twin doors with well figured mahogany panels opening to reveal a single adjustable shelved interior, supported on a rounded plinth base circa 1870

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, fully cleaned and waxed. There is wear to the original leather
