A fine antique Victorian Gothic revival rosewood chair, the tall, padded back within a twist-turned frame with reeded finials, the stuffed seat on octagonal baluster front legs; covered in geometric needlework upholstery. In untouched original condition this chair is in very good condition for its age, with its original needlework upholstery seat and a fantastic warm patina to the rosewood frame. A very pretty mediaevalist chair dating from the second half of the 19th Century circa 1860-1880.

Solid Rosewood.

Condition Report:

Very good solid condition. Some small splits in the rosewood to the legs. Missing castors. Upholstery is clean (faded with age) and webbing and stuffing all good. Missing braid to back.
