Antique Serpentine Front Mahogany Chest on Chest

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique flame mahogany chest on chest of nice proportions with canted corners which have blind fretwork. The graduated drawers have fine dovetails, original brass handles, plus locks & this chest sits on bold bracket feet. This chest has a serpentine shaped front & is in good original condition, with loads of character. It also has a brushing slide in the middle & it separates into two sections for easy transportation. I would date it to around the 1910 period.

Depth - 16.2", 41 cm

Height - 56", 142 cm
