Description

A stunning pair of English binoculars or field glasses dating to around 1900. Made from polished brass, they have been meticulously re-polished to gleam, which looks stunning paired with the dark coloured leather.

They focus wonderfully with leather covered sun shades which pull out to reduce glare in bright light and sunshine.

What is rather nice and unusual is the gold embossed makers mark to the front of the case "Heath & Co. Ltd. - Opticians To The Admiralty - Grayford, London".

Excellent condition measuring 5" wide x 4 1/2" tall extending to 6 1/2" while fully extended and the sun shades pulled out.
