Description

An English fusee dial clock. A mahogany case with a 12" painted dial and brass bezel surround. A great provenance with the original makers label 'C Sansom, Brompton Road, Clockmaker to Sciemce and Art Department, South Kensington'. An 8-day duration fusee mechanism.

Charles Sansom of London is recorded in Loomes 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World' book as working 1863 to 1881.
