Description

A charming and large late 19th century ~ probably Art Nouveau period ~ German BRONZE SCULPTURE of a young naked lady, who dances whilst playing the castanets.

Her hair is tied in a bun, and she is smiling broadly as she dances. Good patina; 20ins (51cms) high. Signed to the base: Don Van den Bossche, who flourished during the late 19th/early 20th century.
