Description

An excellent rich mahogany drop leaf dining table with swing out gate legs.

This early piece is in fine condition and is solid and worthy. It will seat 6 and has the advantage born by this kind of table to be dropped and put away to give space.

The pad feet and legs are indicative of it's age and the framework is pegged oak. The minimum of decoration and embellishment typical of this period make it a timeless antique which will always hold it's own in a changing market.

I have described it as mahogany but pieces of this colour are often referred to as 'red walnut', some thinking this even more desirable.
