Description

A mahogany George III Period antique bachelors chest with brushing slide. Having a solid mahogany rectangular top with boxwood line inlaid detail and a mahogany cross banded edge. With a rectangular mahogany brushing slide above four graduating oak lined mahogany drawers, retaining what appears to be the original brass swan neck handles and with boxwood line inlaid detail to the drawer fronts. Supported on shaped bracket feet and with solid mahogany sides. The sides also having large brass carrying handles which are not original but probably added in Victorian times. English circa 1800

Dimensions: 31.5" wide x 18.5" deep x 35" high

Condition: This chest is in excellent condition. Re-polished in our workshops.
