A large, 19th Century, Grand Tour serpentine or Ranocchia model of the Dog of Alcibiades, also known as the 'Jennings Dog' which can currently be seen in the British Museum.

This is a nicely carved, statuesque, example.

30cm high, the base 28cm long.
