Christian Davies Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the 1900s.
One is a rocking chair, raised on a shaped "rocking" platform base, the other one is raised on square tapering supports. The chairs have been recently re-upholstered in a peacock feather design similar to what may have been used originally. Constructed with quarter sawn oak throughout, possibly by Liberty's of London, circa 1900
Dimensions: Arm chair 39" high x 24" deep x 26" wide (seat 12" high) Rocker 37" high x 29" deep x 25" wide (seat 12" high)
Condition: This pair of chars are in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed. An excellent colour and patination
