Handsome Boxed Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Ring - 1897

Description

A very handsome Victorian English sterling silver napkin ring with an attractive repousse or embossed decoration with a vacant cartouche to the front. The edges have a crimped design edged in a very fine beaded border.

The napkin ring comes in it's period velvet and silk lined box. The ring has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1897 together with the makers initials, A.H for the silversmith, Arthur Harris.

Excellent condition, the napkin ring measures 1 1/8" thick with a diameter measuring 1 7/8". Weighing 0.74 Troy Ounces / 23 Grams.
