Antique English Cake Stand C. 1900 in Silver Plate

Description

A very elegant two tier cake stand dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian era, around 1900.

The stand is stamped with a makers mark on the underside but is illegible being stamped on such a narrow piece of metal, we can make out EPNS for Electro Plated Nickel Silver.

The two oval dishes are beautifully pierced or reticulated.

Excellent condition, the footprint measuring 9 3/4" x 5 3/4" and standing 13 1/2" tall. Each removable dish measures 8 1/2" x 6 1/2".
