Description

A fabulous desk-top rocking blotter, substantial and highly decorative, shaped with a plethora of repousse or embossed work.

To change the blotting paper the entire top of the blotter twists and unscrews.

The side of the silver is where a full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1898, a true Victorian example and very usable today. The makers initials D & F are present for the well renowned silversmith, Deakin & Francis.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" x 3" x 3 1/4" tall.
