A Set of 8 Mahogany Regency Period Antique Dining Chairs

Description

A set of 8 mahogany Regency Period antique sabre leg dining chairs including two carver armchairs. Each chair with a rectangular horizontal top rail with a central flame veneered tablet and a further shaped lower support rail, with applied turned roundels. Having drop in seats newly upholstered in a beige velour. The larger scale armchairs having swept arms. All supported on sabre front supports with swept rear supports united by H stretchers English circa 1820

Dimensions: Armchairs 21" wide x 20" deep x 35" high Stand Chairs 18.5" wide x 19" deep x 35" high (seats 18" high)

Condition: This set of chairs are in excellent original condition. There is one old repair to one back leg and a minor repair to one of the armchairs (see pictures). Newly upholstered in a beige velour in our workshops
