Description

A wonderful quality English Victorian sterling silver napkin ring made from two layers of silver creating a chunky napkin ring with a good weight. There is a full English hallmark for London 1899.

The makers initials are also present, RS for the silversmith, Robert Stebbings. There is also a partial mark to the inside of ring as this liner was made separately, most unusual.

The napkin ring is beautifully engraved with a variety of Ferns, very English and very Victorian. The front has a vacant cartouche.

The napkin ring comes in it's presentation box with cream silk lining, gold printed "A Lashmore, Jeweller, Oswestry".

Excellent condition, measuring 1 3/4" in diameter x 1" thick.
