A French Carved Oak, Armoire, Bed and Night Table Bedroom Set in the style of Henri II
This exquisite bedroom suite has most fortunately survived as one when so many others have been separated, it is finely and profusely carved with figures and sea nymphs and decorated all over with leaves and swirls in the Rococo Style and all the pieces have heavy moulded plinth bases, barley twist columns and turned wooden feet
It would be very simple to remove the shelves and replace them with a hanging rail
The Armoire is 89” high x 22” deep x 56” wide, it completely dismantles for transport ( the interior is 16” deep.
The Bed is a stunning piece of 19th Century Carving with a high headboard and turned wooden knobs at both ends, we will supply a purpose made slatted base so that it will take a standard 5ft mattress
The bed is 60” wide, the top is 60” high, the base is 44” high, the interior size is 75”
And we also have the matching night cupboard, it is a tall piece with 4 drawers a fall front cupboard and a brown marble top it is 18” square and 36” high
This set is in Very good condition, it has good patination, there are very few knocks or chips and there is no woodworm
