This Court Cupboard has a quirky story to tell this is related in the Carvings
The other carved panels, including those of the bottom cupboard relate a story which seems to demonize the playing of cards and consumption of strong drink, and in the final carving one of the members of the company can be seen being removed by the Devil in a Very Painful Manor

The lower section has a large shelved cupboard with two carved doors on the front, the cupboard is made in solid Oak, it has had very little restoration work carried out on it in the past, and it is in good condition for a piece of this age with a small hole at the bottom of the right hand cupboard

The cupboard is 72” high, 58” wide and 24”, this is a Heavy piece it does come into 2 to help with transportation but help will be needed to move it
